The heart that stand

he stand at the door at his friends house with a yellow rose knocking at her door , waiting for her to answer.
She open the door and with her surprise to see me with a yellow rose . she smiled as her heart glowed so bright.
She always glad to see him with a surpise gift and she felt honor of his presents .
They always sat on big swing chair and they always talk .
They laugh they listen to each other and had fun listen to the frogs croak at night.
She knew that he has nightmares and knew what they where as the night went on. He wanted to tell her his feelings and wanted her close to him and close to his heart cause they where best friends, when he was ready to say it with a lot tension in his heart.
The phone rang and she left to answer it it was her friend ask for a recipe . He sat there as the tension and feelings sank in his heart.
He was pepared to leave a card for her cause she was busy.
He got up and left feeling sad as he walked away. Leaving the card on the seat and waved to her to say goodbye , cause her friend always talked long on the phone.
She felt sad to see him go, cause she wanted to get close to him but was afraid to say it.
After the call was over she saw her friend walk away back home for the night. She sat on the swing chair and she notice the card with her name on it.
She open it and she read it , it brought tears to her face as she read more of the card that was left for her.
It read like this
I wanted you close to me as my special friend and afraid to ask you cause you been a superhero , a angel, a dear friend to me. When I have those nightmares I think of you with angel wings covering me and covering me safe from harm. I dream of you close to me hugging me and let me cry my self to sleep in your arms. I want to build myself up and say its alright you can get close to me and to my heart I wanted you too hug me kiss me cause I let you get close to me. Cause I feel the comforts around you when we do things togeather.
I may never know when I feel this way again. She cryed after she read the card , she got on her shoes and walked over to his house. she knocked on the door fast and yelled to let him in and let her in his heart,she wanted him close to him also as that special friend. The neighbor next door came out and said he got on his boat and left .
She cried on his steps in the night holding the card in her hands. She missed it and in her heart it felt sorrow that he got on his boat and left
