I have a lot of favorite authors but one, outstanding in my mind would be Henry Fielding, author of "Tom Jones." What a wonderful story and a totally enjoyable read and supposedly one of the first "novels." I started walking myself to the library at around age 5 or 6 and will read just about anything.
I do need to know if I can pick up some of Dr.T's books at Barnes and Noble or Border before I leave the country but decided I could call and check as easily as someone giving me the info via e-mail.
I'm now in the process of reading Stephen King's "Duma Key" and will be in need of more substantial reading than my "mind candy" stories. I love all kinds of material and have to watch the "mind candy" so I'm reading more than just "fluff." Sorry, Mr. King. I have no one around where I live that reads as I do and to have a group where we could discuss the satire, politics or just the stiory itself would be very welcome and would help me to grow.
Anyway, I'm babbling again.

Stacey have you ever read Mark Twain's Biography of St. Joan of Arc. I used to read it to my children when they were small, especially for my daughter. St. Joan of Arc is a strong person and I felt it was especially important for my daughter to know of St. Joan of Arc. Mark Twain if I am not mistaken went to France to research this book. He said it was his favorite all time book to write.

Peace and best wishes to you
