I can only hope for nature to heal herself and she will do so in time...

Comment by Sherri Hannon on September 17, 2008 at 11:22am: Just wanted to comment on the note on "Dead Fishes" ...I live in Nebraska and officals are telling people here to stay out of the recreational lakes because of "acid alge" . It actually causes nasty skin rashes...also no fishing or do not eat the fish! This is really scary to me. They give no indication of where it comes from or how it started or how to get rid of it! I asked and got a very vague reply...just nonsense!
